Sean Hayes joins The Millers

Emmy winner Sean Hayes has been cast as a series regular in CBS’ comedy The Millers.

Hayes will play Kip Withers, Carol Miller’s (Margo Martindale) new best friend and a new source of friction for Nathan (Will Arnett), Carol’s son. His character will be introduced during the series’ Season 2 premiere on October 30.

Hayes played Jack McFarland for eight seasons on the NBC comedy Will & Grace, winning an Emmy in 2000 and garnering six other nominations for the role. He also won shared an Emmy in 2011 for The 64th Annual Tony Awards. Most recently, Hayes starred in and executive produced the comedy series Sean Saves the World. Other TV credits include Smash, Up All Night and Martin & Lewis. On the film side, Hayes appeared in the Bobby and Peter Farrelly comedy The Three Stooges, The Bucket List and indie drama Pieces Of April.

The Millers also stars Beau Bridges, Jayma Mays, JB Smoove, Nelson Franklin and Lulu Wilson. Greg Garcia and James Burrows serve as executive producers. The series is produced by CBS Television Studios.
